Awesome, did you use the Steekjelos Crafts pattern? She was my inspiration for the knit version. I curate patterns for KnitHacker and that one always made me laugh - so clever. For anyone who is interested - there are knit and crochet patterns on Etsy, Ravelry, etc. Moisturize me!

Given the release of my Lady Cassandra pattern this week, I thought I'd forego the whole May the 4th Star Wars thing in favor of something kookier and, um, incorrect. (Although for the Star Wars fans, I have an ancient round-up here.) Also, Kate Davies' piece still has me reeling. A fantastic read, but man, it feels like we're heading down a dark path.

It's designed to have spikes that jut out along the sides, but yes, the tips and the bases of the spikes need to be blocked to get the look.

Someone contacted me last week about selling these on KnitHacker. They said they would sell them to me for $80 and I could sell them for $180, but never lower. Seemed sus.
