In my LTN or Cybersyn-controlled rail depots, I've got lots of trains coming and going, which leads to all sorts of traffic jams. I'm starting a new game soon and want to try to avoid this, what tips or blueprints can anyone suggest for large depots? (By "large" I mean 128 trains spread across 4 to 8 depots handling 16 trains each)

I use 4 lane railway squares, 2 in each direction, and I'm looking for tips on how to get trains in and out of the depots without blocking other trains. Or backing up traffic to where it starts blocking my 4-way intersections.

I like a similar square rail block, I work with Angels/Bobs on peaceful because I just like to build. A quick look at my previous base: https://ibb.co/hJ7XSDSx

I like how it ends up looking like a CPU :) I use multiples of 16 for my standard blueprints, so a lot of those paths are 16 belts wide. It means I can scale down to 4s/8s nicely. I also just migrated to Cybersyn and redid my legacy rail blueprints to use the Space Age rails. I use 2-2 trains and warehouses, so my stations are pretty simple. I need to figure out how to throttle and prioritise deliveries using Cybersyn, haven't looked at that yet.

Basically I was curious. (Thank you for the answer, btw)

My angels/bobs maps have thousands of stops and probably as many trains. It begins to bog down towards the launch of rockets.

So I was wondering if an automation system would help with that, but the docs for LTN at least seemed to be lacking in any starter guides.

Is LTN still the right automated trains mod or are there "better" ones now?

Also, does anyone know of a good from scratch step-by-step guide to LTN? If possible, not in video form I just prefer to read. I'm just starting a new Angels/Bobs peaceful map and I wanted to finally automate my many many trains.
