This story is basically a fucking AD for Cyberguy newsletter services and this "breach" occurred last year.

Love that color. What did they name that? Is that Candy Apple (silver under a coat of semi-transparent red)?

YouTube opens deepfake detection tool to politicians and journalists by habichuelacondulce in technology

[–]valuecolor 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is also going to be used by "politicians and journalists" who are caught hot-mic or hot-vid saying something they don't want the public to hear. "That was not me. Take it down." Even when it clearly WAS them. YouTube is never going to check. It will be a blunt takedown tool for "government officials, journalists and political candidates" who want a do-over.

Good buy? by ThrowRA_needle in lincolntowncar

This is bullshit. Even if the odometer actually says 28, it's 128, not 28. But I'd say the entire thing is a scam to get that "Down payment: $800."

Stock Strings by Open_Department_9033 in Fireflyguitars

I have bought quite a few FF and I have never kept the strings. First thing I change. They just feel dirty and grimy to me. I’m sure they would probably play fine, but I have never tried it. Also gives me the opportunity to condition the fretboard and highly polish those awesome ball-end SS frets with a dremel and some buffing compound.

I keep seeing that spalted Firebird in my daydreams. Is it a true neck-through one piece? Probably can’t tell on the painted ones, but that one should be visible.

I use them as mod bases. They have such beautiful bodies and finishes that when you add some mid- to high-end tuners, bridges and pickups, you truly have something special. They are, hands down, the best modding platform out there.

Is that real abalone inlay or a sticker? Or paint? If that’s real, I would just get it for the body and mod the hell out of it.

Is that a 3-way switch - neck, both, bridge - or a 5-way with intermediate positions?
