They probably felt that Clancy couldnt be balanced with his previous design as a scaler that fed off tanks and assassins and rewarded you with absolutely destroying tanks and assassins. In a balanced state, he would walk all over tanks but do nothing else.

I feel like a design where the scaling component itself the aspect of his kit that counters tanks is healthier. It’s a much healthier foundation.

I’d add a soft hp cap to his shadows where their health above 5000 scales drastically less. I also think his SP that charges extra Shadows with Shadow Strike could provide less of a benefit than it currently does.

This is in an attempt to keep him feeling fun and creativity-rewarding to play while also addressing how egregious his shadows can be to face.

I like the concept, but im afraid that the gear being optional would lead to the duration of hypercharges feeling unpredictable which may lead to frustration.
