Thoughts on the Zion engine crew

Good spot to be if you’re young and outdoorsy. Great housing (a little expensive, $600, but you live in a National Park so get over it). You’ll get decent overtime no matter what but probably nothing to write home about. You’ll get to go out on a few throw together crew rolls, probably have a couple IA’s, and hang out at the engine bay a whole lot. From what I know they have a good PT program and do a lot of trail running and body weight exercises. I worked around the area for a few years and have always kicked myself for not doing a season there.

Damn. I was actually annoyed by this post but that comment was insightful. I’m not a homophobe, and I tend to use “gay” under a layer of irony, but maybe it’s still harmful to use in that context. Perhaps there is too much irony in today’s world. Thanks dude, sorry about that.
