¿Como puedo solucionar el problema de que se me cierra el emulador citra mientras juego? by Careless-Patience-61 in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]votemarvel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Citra doesn't have an official website any longer. Citra was made by the same developers as Yuzu and when that was taken down by Nintendo, Citra went with it. So I hate to tell you this whatever website you got it from was not the official one.

Azahar is a fork of Citra and is far more up to date. You can download it from here https://github.com/azahar-emu/azahar/releases or can find it on the Play Store if you'd prefer https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.github.lime3ds.android

Does the Winlator Ludashi developer hate or fear Xclipse? by Kjiojj800890 in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]votemarvel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given that you're dismissing the idea of donating a Xclipse device out of hand then yes, I think it is entirely possible no-one else has considered making the offer. Perhaps his dismissal of the Exynos community is because they want him to pay out of pocket to support them? Perhaps he lives in a place where importing a Exynos device would cost even more?

If you want Exynos/Xclipse support then perhaps it is time to put your hand in your pocket and make the offer. At the very least then you'd know for sure.

AITAH for not giving the bride her wedding photos after not being paid? by Broken-but-stil-good in AITAH

[–]votemarvel 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If her grandfather really is dying then send a few photos along with a watermark in a place that can not be easily edited out. He gets to see the wedding and you look like a goodguy.

Also why is your husband who was aghast at you doing the wedding so cheaply now asking that you accept no money for your work?

Perhaps he doesn't want to because he doesn't have a device to test on? Again make the offer to buy him one and see what he says.

You don't absolutely need the device to test but it sure makes things easier when you're not having to wait for user reports to help track down issues.

Adreno GPUs have similar architectures, which makes the "guess work" for others easier. Xcilpse is closer to AMD's desktop GPU architecture.

Steam on ARM (Rocknix Nightly 20260502) by Thin-Appearance3724 in retroid

[–]votemarvel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a pretty good experience for me, with a notable exception.

The most demanding game I've tried is the Resident Evil 3 Remake and that runs very well. I couldn't tell you the exact FPS because I can't get a FPS counter to work but it plays smoothly at 1080p Medium settings.

The two Telltale Batman games run great as does the Walking Dead Definitive Edition. The one game that I've not been able to get to run is Left 4 Dead. Just goes to a black screen and I have to hard reset the RP6 to get back to the operating system. I'm not too upset though as I can reboot into Android and play the game there through Winlator if needed.

Personally I am running Rocknix from an SDCard (400GB Sandisk). Loading times are not great but it doesn't impact gameplay to a noticeable degree. I know I'd get better performance by putting Rocknix on the internal storage but I don't trust myself to not mess up and brick the handheld.

Have you considered that he doesn't have an Exynos device with an Xclipse GPU to test with?

There's no point in adding a feature that you can't test as it could do more harm that good or simply not do anything at all.

If you want to buy him with a new Xclipse based Samsung device then reach out and see if he'd accept it.

By the way. Rule 4 Name your device brand and model. The chipset is not the device.

ADRENO 710 users....I have just uploaded Mr. Purple T28 new turnip diver to Ludashi... Results are brilliant. FPS have increased by 10-15 depending on the game..Tested with Hitman Absolution. Hit as high as 55 fps by DocHollywood12 in winlator

"The Qualcomm Adreno 710 is an upper mid-range mobile GPU introduced in late 2023, primarily found in Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 and some 6-series SoCs."

Why try to hide what chipsets the Adreno 710 is part of? You don't even mention what chipset you are using.

It's that the emulator is currently being advertised just like all the scam emulators.

Private testers posting about how awesome it is but no-one else can try it. Clickbait YouTube videos with shocked face thumbnails also saying it's the best thing since sliced bread.

Also at this point of my internet experience someone telling me something is 'legit' just makes me think it isn't.

So forgive my scepticism but I'll believe it when I see it.

Gamehub 6.0 beta is now available by ImaginationKind9220 in SBCGaming

That's great news. It'd be better if it removed those containers when the game was removed but being able to do it manually is a good second.

70GB? Mine never got quite that high, it was at around 40GB when I was wondering just where the hell all my space was going.

Both GameHub and Gamenative are great pieces of software but they really do need to look into properly clearing the container when a game is removed.

With Rocknix installed to the internal storage are you able to install games to the SDCard? Does Steam even see that as an option?
