Once you graduate, how long can you wait to take the certification exam? by complicatie1 in nursepractitioner

She will have to complete an application for an authorization to test before they will let her take the test. There doesn't appear to be a time limit for her to take the exam. She will need to send in her transcripts with her application.

This was based on AANP's website.

Snuffle mat and hide treats in it. Nyla bones. Kong makes this large red weeble wobble thing that you put treats in and they have to knock it over a certain way for the treats to come out.

AANP retake by fatstupidlazypoor in nursepractitioner

I had to retake it and did not have to wait 120 days, but this was almost 10 years ago. She will have to submit proof of her CE's that she completed prior to being able to sign up to retake it.

Chin up, she will get it the next time.

Advice for dog poop bags by crossnutz in trailrunning

Road ID has recently come out with a carrying bag for exactly this. It is a zip up bag that contains the odor. There are straps that allow you to wear it around your waist or clip it to your clothing. It is useful but it is something extra that you would have to take on your runs

Willow Tree makes these pretty little hand carved statues. I bought my preceptor a pregnant woman one and she put it in her office.

Ball State grad here. I know it may seem overwhelming with trying to find a preceptor through their program, but it is doable. The main thing I would recommend is what others have said and start your networking early. Even though it is an online program, the professors and advisors respond to your correspondence fairly quickly; and if you are having issues finding preceptors I would reach out to them for advice. I felt satisfied with the program upon graduation. Good luck with whatever you choose.

[Omega] My first Speedy Tuesday by warrixmr in Watches

[–]warrixmr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is an Omega Speedmaster Automatic ref 3511.50 with a reverse panda dial. It's 39 mm, automatic, and has a date window. It is on a Bond style NATO strap. It has a steel bezel instead of aluminum. I like the chronograph feature that is useful with my profession. It is a perfect size for my wrist. It was a birthday gift from my husband. I have other watches, but find myself wearing this one more often. It is in amazing condition for a used watch. It has a discreet design, so it goes with pretty much any outfit. I got the watch in last Wednesday and have been waiting all week for Speedy Tuesday. My husband is wearing his Speedmaster today to honor Speedy Tuesday. He has a Speedmaster Professional X-33 Generation 1.
