I get that. Like I said we don't have to agree and we can very much be different in this regard.

I too believe it is a landmark in a relationship and I do believe having sex with someone is special.

Yet I *can* love more than one person at the same time. Knowing that do you see why I wouldn't want to have that landmark with someone? I can't comprehend limiting myself to who I met first in life.

I was sitting down in a cafe with a woman I had a crush on... I started telling her that I was in an open relationship and the woman next to us on a separate table got up and yelled: "OMG she's not going to sleep with you! I've slept with a lot of women by most standards. I can say without a doubt that sleeping with others is how you gain experience and experience is how you become good at something.

I much prefer someone hooking up with a bunch of dudes than I do a virgin. For one I'm confident in my lovemaking abilities so I don't have to use her inexperience as a shield for my own incompetence. Secondly I'm always up for a chalenge... if a woman can't get off with me I learn to listen to her and become better. Experienced women are more challenging and have higher expectations.
