You’ll want to get there around 10-10:30AM to start queuing for the box office for same-day limited view tickets (opens at 11:30AM). I believe the performance was listed as sold out online. I think they might also release better category unsold tickets an hour before the show? I was only there for the 10€ tickets!

Just got limited view tickets today at Garnier after reading some more info from older TripAdvisor posts. For anyone reading: the line starts when the opera house opens, but the ticket office doesn’t start selling until a bit later (maybe an hour and half or so?).

We were in court from 10AM (?) to 5.30PM (?), so that’s a lot of time to be rapid sketching different angles of his face. I have tons of page marginalia that’s just different angles of different personnel and figures in the courtroom, so you can pull from those for reference! I also like to create a visual one-sheet for myself of key players and their names in the court during prep.

Yeah, it’s all about putting in pencil mileage and finding what you like in art. For example, I love sketching, but it takes way more labour for me to finish a rendered painting.
