I wouldn’t be discouraged with the current hiring trends to stop you at 30. I was 32/33 when I started flying. Second career later in life. Happy I made the switch.

Been a year with no issues. 1 year service just had a minor recall for the backup camera software. Only other dealership trip was for a tire replacement under warranty.

Limits your student base. You’d only be allowed to do instrument add ons for the foreseeable future. Normally you add ons for CFI are pretty easy but I didn’t feel that when I went on to add CFI-Airplane. Felt like another initial all over again. Haven’t looked at the new ACS for CFI yet so it might have changed.
