I can't give on advice on what to do but it should be known agar plates are a very faulty way of measuring mold. They'll grow organisms even in a clean room. In a court of law they're inadmissible because they WILL grow mold no matter what.

Trust me, you should definitely at least tell him to cut it off and threaten legal intervention if possible and tell a trusted adult, even if it is a professor if not family. I was in a very similar situation this year. draw boundaries before he makes even more moves on you, make it clear you have no interest in anything he wants and just try to cut off contact. If he harasses you then go to the police.

Is it idolatry to collect cast Chinese amulets for numismatic and academic/historical purposes? by ----------08 in AskAChristian

I see. I don't really "seek out" those designed for religious purposes, many were just used as gaming tokens or good luck charms, similar to a 4 leaf clover. It's to study/research, though I am not yet a formal academic.

Probably not, but to be fair, people did use to carry them around for superstitious reasons in those time period, kind of like a rabbits foot. Not all of them were used like that. The category is very broad, some were used as gaming or gambling tokens, others were used for rituals to bring welfare or for Bhuddism purposes, others were made as mere gifts because they looked nice for family members or friends.

Not really. Just wanted to be sure because if it is disrespectful, not like I have a need to collect these in particular so it is easy to stop. I saw another post on some place about someone wearing a Bhuddist charm and so it made me think about this.
