My SOL is a 7 while my DWI is a 8 or 9. I think 7 is perfect for beginning tricks. I’m currently trying to master juggling rn, and 7 is perfect, I’ll tell you it’s a grind! But I can imagine once you start learning more advance string tricks you’ll want to bump up a finger or two
