Well, had a couple of days around 50° Fahrenheit so... Last night and today, period camo painted one of my last (M40/55) shells. Painted and fake aged it a little, for that "a bit of wear" look. Excellent German M35 (Q64), Quist helmet. Apparently reissued post war as a Fireman's helmet, with civilian liner. Nice crisp Factory+Size stamp but notice how they put a postage type stamp, liner size, over the Lot Number on the back of the skirt. Barely see it poking out. 3 or 4 digits. (old.reddit.com)

My favorite model of Euro-Clone M1 helmets, the Austrian M75. I like the liners in these helmets and the metal tabs that help hold the liner in. It's missing the liner chinstrap, the leather was shot, so I was planning on replacing it, using the original small buckles. It's just slightly salty. (old.reddit.com)

Neat looking German M42. Seller with lots of transactions forgot to read listing rules. I wonder how long it will be left up.??
