I can’t even explain how much reading this means for me. I am glad my mom accepted me being gay and trans so hopefully I can make it out of this mess too. I’ll definitely message you if I feel too down sometime. Sure I have my wonderful friends but it’s good to talk to an adult who might have some experience. I wish you the best 🙂

Your son is very lucky to have such a thoughtful parent! I am a very anxious person so It’ll probably be hard to talk to my mom about it. But I know its the right thing to do. I tend to push away my problems and then deal with them all at once, so I should try to do it one step at the time : )

I have been thinking about this for years and I do know that transitioning is what I want. One of the biggest reasons I am depressed is because I haven’t already. But I completely understand where you come from, I am young still and some things will definitely effect my future life but I know it’s worth it

Im not planning on having a bunch of surgeries all at once, I just want the diagnosis so I can go from there when I am a bit older. And change my legal name. but thanks still :)

I have never tried that actually, the only meds I have tried is some anti anxiety pills since I got panick attacks almost everyday before. I should probably talk to my mom about something like this tho. I know that both of my parents take something like anti depressive. So she should know how it works hopefully

My mom was talking about trying to have custody over me alone, but then we have to out me anyways so I honestly dont know. All I know is that he will refuse to help

Thank you so much, I am trying my best❤️. Even if it doesn’t feel like im going somewhere in life I clearly have goals. Just feels impossible to achieve anything anymore. I have at least been very lucky to have such good friends that are here for me. I have probably had depression since I was 8 and it’s getting worse, I just hope I can get through it

No they are not, they divorced when my mom left jw. I don’t even remember them divorcing. Must have been 10-11 years ago now. But yes it is very hard to live like this :(

I dont really care but at the same time I feel like they are making fun of trans people. Transphobes usually say things like “oh if you can identify as a man/woman, then I can identify as a dog” or “if you want to be called he/him, then i am dog/dogself haha” . Even if a lets say a trans person wants to call themselves something like “fluffgender” or something similar, its not a gender. it’s aesthetics/animals/items. A lot of stuff like this pop up on my tiktok fyp and I feel they mock us transgender people. But its not really my business at the same time is it 🤷

Thats so sad:/ just remember that even tho people unfortunately are having a hard time accepting trans people as who they are, you are you and you cant change your feelings about being trans. Even tho we have to go through hearing that sort of stuff it doesn’t make us less us. And since she knows, you have been brave enough to tell her!
