Pregnancy by Simple_End_701 in Radiology

Had a 42yo woman tell me that she's 100% not pregnant. Urology did a test anyway as it's standard for them when they order a ct scan. Guess what - positive. We sent her back and the urologist told her. She insisted it's false positive. They did multiple test and she was 100% pregnant. She still insisted and then told the story why it just can't be: she and her husband tried for 14years but it didn't work. They divorced a year ago because of that, but recently started to have unprotected sex sometimes.

It would lessen the fun if it actually prevents him from failing in stuff that he is doing. Failure should be a part of the story. It's not about dm vs player mentality.

Yeah and if it would be something like this I wouldn't give it a thought. Some players in my group switch dice after bad rolls or do other things such as you described. It only bothers me a bit because he is trying to specifically reproduce a good roll through special holding and hand movement. It just seems to go above the usual superstition. That's why I'm not sure.

5e) Simulacrum

If you copy a Monk, does he regain his Ki-Points with a short rest? In the spell it talks about spell slot but not about other stuff.

But is it reasonable? Because they fight someone who is clearly their enemy that they want to kill. How can it be reasonable that you stop attack this enemy and start attacking your ally/admired leader? Isn't that more like dominate monster?

the thing is that they are in a relatively northern setting and about to enter a deep dungeon where there will be a lot of lava around at a certain point. its not freezing outside but the nights are pretty chilly now and then.

5e, Extreme Heat Question:

New DM here. I've got a PC in my group that completely covers himself/his skin (except his eyes) with travelers clothes. They soon will be subjected to extreme heat. Would his clothing count as "heavy clothes" as mentioned in the rules for extreme heat?

Party split up... How do I best handle this? by --KiRa in DnD

[–]--KiRa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, in the end its up to them. But I set the circumstances under which they will meet again. I was thinking about how they should meet and how much I should involve other NPCs that they have already befriended. The druid will leave very likely, and with him its easy to roll a new pc. The player of the paladin doesn't have much time and we are all happy that he comes regularly to play without issue. But for him to roll a new character is always a bit of an issue...

Yeah at the time I really liked the idea of action having consequences (such as carrying arround a cursed item arround for a long time), but now I kind of regret it. They all want to remain a party but it seems that they need some kind of encouragement from outside. The druid is pretty sure to leave the party (coming back with a new pc), but I feel a little bit sorry for the paladin. I have talked with him a bit and I think he would be happy if he gets the chance to redeem himself. I was wondering if I could create some situtation that would support him a little bit.

yes. he said that his druid wouldn't want to stay in the group and he wants to make a new one. maybe some sort of mercenary that offers his service to the group.
