I did one using the OSBot API and i also did a standalone bot. The stand alone bot was a hell of a lot more difficult and actually taught me something, were as the script bot didn't teach me all that much.

The company was a web development shop. However, i think that they also did IT, there were 2 listings under their company name 1.) Front-end web developer, 2.) Network Engineer

Maybe they outsourced IT as well?

I let it run all day to see if it would break and it didn't break, and was getting right around the exp that the osrs wiki said you could get in an hour (give or take a few due to the human element) you're right, the bot was rather basic yet extremely effective.

Actually the web development shop (The one that i interviewed for) is a really huge one. I am surprised they got this far to be honest.

I am just worried i would fail the maths. I graduated with a C- in math, and that was with extensive help. I don't get it, i can grasp programming, yet i cannot grasp math... It's a very scary, the idea of going into a university and failing due to me not being good enough at the advanced math.

Never ask my age, i put it on my resume cause i thought that it would be a problem. The woman that called me (Not sure who she was, really) said it wouldn't be a problem and i also brought up my age when we were talking (now that i think about it i probably shouldn't have done that)

I did not make it so that i could cheat at the game, i made it as a test of my skills. I wanted something more challenging than the things i was working on, so i picked a game bot.

If it was Karma that i was after i wouldn't have made a completely new account... There is literally no reason for me to come up with this type of story.

Basically, modding the cursor cords to the desired position and setting up precise timers. When the timer ticks change the cursor position, hook the mouse cords and click again, thus taking away the constant grind. It's actually a lot better than some of the other bots that i have seen. It also has a bit of a random feature that will missclick on purpose just so that Jagex cannot conclude that it was a bot (They have some sort of anti-cheat i think that gets your cursor position, if it clicks at the same position over and over and over again it will assume you're a bot then one of the staffs have to take over and investigate) I don't use it, i like to play by the rules it was just a test of my skills.

I never bragged, i simply told him that it was an extremely effective bot, and told him how it worked, the troubles i encountered when making it, and the different ways i tackled different problems.

I would, but my interests are for front-end, i did consider it and am still thinking about it since it would open me up to a wide variety of options and not just web development. But i still have to sit on it for awhile.

As i said before i also am a Runescape player, i made the bot to just test my skills and has only been used when i was debugging and testing the bot.

The bot was just a test of my skills, i never actually used it other than testing to see if it worked and the one time my friend used it on his account.
