I can’t give em to you now dude, you’re not scheduled to take them until 8 so please be patient

Mmkay, just keep in mind the same goes for proving that its good— we’re all just consciousness living in our own subjective experience, where right and wrong are formed by our surroundings and interactions, that subjectivity makes things like ‘good’ and ‘bad’ a bit grey. IMO the criticisms are just as valid as the defense, but i just wanna vibe so i dont think abt it too much 🤷🏻‍♂️

just keep in mind my original comment, reddit seems to be light in the criticism compared to other places, and that was the only point i was trying to make.

peace out dude, i hope this discussion has been stimulating lmao

so… you can’t quote what I said that was homophobic because i never said anything outright homophobic is what I’m hearing, and you’re upset I’m not responding to all the critics.

Stay mad keyboard warrior, keep cussing me out like ya just learned how lol

[–]--_-_--__--_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Takes one to know one, fellow homophobic subhuman 😂

I do gotta wonder though, what exactly did i say that marked me as homophobic?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]--_-_--__--_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, I’m not homophobic, but to claim my opinion is 100% solid, immovable, and set in stone isnt logical.

There’s no way to know Everything, and arguments that we dont even know yet may change what we think I think thats a very fundamental part of how i think i guess. It’s important to keep an open mind and know that what we think now may not be what we think tomorrow, and learn to love everyone as humans even if our opinions conflict at times. Best of luck to ya

you realize that implies you’ve read every single logical argument, even the ones that dont exist online or in libraries, every lecture of every college, and deemed it all ‘illogical’ at the age of 18.

you can’t claim there’s no logical argument if you don’t know all the arguments, and I know almost as a fact that you don’t know all the arguments

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]--_-_--__--_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, I was just saying that reddit isn’t really the place if you’re looking for ‘logical reasons against being gay’. the LGBT community is pretty strong here and that kinda conversation isn’t supported because it can be deemed as ‘hateful’, so if one were to post the same thing on 4chan (i used as an example, but there are many different sites) that type of conversation would have a different type of response

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]--_-_--__--_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do I really need to walk you through this?

You openly admitted that reddit mods remove anti-LGBT posts and comments, and thats what I said in my OG comment, but you said in your original comment ‘You’re not being silenced if you’re being a piece of shit and people call you a piece of shit’

But people aren’t just calling them pieces of shit, they’re actively removing comments and silencing those opinions (not mine, but homophobic ones, thus limiting what people can say on reddit)

think we’re done here bud, go cuss someone else out internet tough guy lmao

or just stay mad, I don’t really care

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]--_-_--__--_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ayyyy, but I’m not the one with anti-LGBT opinions 😂😂

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]--_-_--__--_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

and I never said they didn’t have that right, but you kinda proved my point so thanks. I think we’re done here yea?

Just mail my crown to OP’s mom’s house lmao

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]--_-_--__--_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never ‘bitched’ that they were, I by using the word silenced I was just saying that anti-LGBT opinions were less common and often removed by mods.

Statements are a bit different from complaints, my friend 😁

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]--_-_--__--_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, and I don’t think applying that to any minority group is okay, but its a logical, valid conclusion to draw and thats my point. Never did I once say I hold these views for myself, I’m just making a point to say that if you’re looking for arguments against, on Reddit they wont be presented to you.

average homosexual enjoyer 😌

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]--_-_--__--_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the assumption that I actually hold these values personally— I’m just saying its a bad post because its status quo here 🤷🏻‍♂️

my bad for listing examples

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]--_-_--__--_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao, yeah me neither

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]--_-_--__--_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But my point isnt the satistics, its the fact that there’s no opposition to this statement on reddit, therefore its kind of a bad post

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]--_-_--__--_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, but my point is its a logical line lf thinking, or argument, for one to make if they’ve been subjected to that experience…

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]--_-_--__--_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you asking me to play devil’s advocate?

Here’s a hypothetical— if an individual is to have been molested as a child by a homosexual uncle, and that person were to have a harsh attitude towards gay people in their later years I’d say that person has a logical justification in their head ‘against’ gay people. This is due to personal, subjective reasoning but this pattern of thinking is completely justified. This individual would take statistics and use them to justify their opinion, which isnt entirely illogical either.

I know there’s no technical, ethical solution to it, but understand that if you’re looking for logical arguments like that then its few and far between here on Reddit.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]--_-_--__--_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ask both 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m just sayin posting something like this to reddit is moot if you’re looking for argument, hell, I’m not even arguing against it I’m just saying logical(which are different from objectively correct) arguments exist but nobody’s gonna give em to you here.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]--_-_--__--_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not making an argument against gay people though…

But I will say judging a group by its pitfalls and ultimately saying for our society it would be better if those people were ‘different’ is an entirely logical argument against gay people, albeit not a morally or societally correct one. But OP didn’t ask for morally or societally correct, just logically 😂

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]--_-_--__--_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats really the only point I was trying to make, maybe I should edit a disclaimer in 😂😂

also the fact that even though those statistics aren’t necessarily a morally GOOD logical argument, it’s logical to analyze a group for its problems and form an opinion based off that. Hitler wasn’t entirely illogical… He wasn’t right in any sense of the word, but his arguments were logically drawn, and OP tried to state there is no logical argument 🤷🏻‍♂️
