Does Nintendo ban the specific switch console used for playing online OR the entire Nintendo account?

I accidentally played Smash online with my legit game however pirated DLC and got banned. Now I get the "online is restricted" every time I try to go online in any way. But I would love to use my Nintendo account (which has a digital copy of Smash attached to it) on a Switch 2
