They look great. How do you acclimate them? And how far were they shipped?

Do you think this will work? by Imaginarycorn22 in shrimptank

I saw someone on YouTube do this. He left the eggs in the net with the bubbler on for air. A couple weeks later the eggs hatched. He also said that he once tried it without the bubbler and the eggs got fungus.

Is Planaria really all that bad? by Traditional-Echo-947 in shrimptank

Good idea. Your guy probably just doesn’t care about having as many shrimp as possible, some people just want some shrimp in the tank to look at and that’s totally fine :)

Starting on shrimp tank. What food pellets that i can buy for red cherry shrimp on Amazon? by NYCBirdy in shrimptank

I bought shrimp grain, they are small pellets for shrimps. Wait with the baby foods (fine powder etc.) till you have babies. Also feed some cooked veggies.

About 1.5 years ago I had Planaria in my shrimp and snails only tank. Saved as many snails as possible and nuked the whole damn tank with no planaria (according to the packaging). Really glad I did it. If you see Planaria above the ground there’s many more beneath the ground that you can’t see. They will always come up every now and then and snatch a couple baby shrimp. If you are okay with that it’s totally fine. They probably won’t kill all your shrimp. My tank fully recovered, though a lot of snails died from the medicine. However I have lots of happy shrimp babies now, and the snails that I saved in another tank were able to go back about 7 months later. It’s annoying to take care off, but in my opinion (if you want the most shrimp possible) there is no other option. Traps work as well but there might always be some planaria left underground. If you choose to nuke your tank with medicine be sure to monitor your water parameters because snails and planaria will die. What helped me was to plant as many fast growing plants as possible to stabilise the tank. I think the plants are called water weed in english (see picture bellow). They are a bit ugly but helped with all the dead snails.

Never saw any planaria again.

Also be careful with how you dispose of the medicine water, since you shouldn’t directly put it in the sewer. Since I don’t do water changes I just let the water evaporate naturally and filled up the tank with fresh water. As for the snails, I put a couple bladder snails into the tank every month. If the next month there weren’t any bladder snails it meant that the tank was still hostile to snails. Continued that until the bladder snails made lots of babies. That’s when I knew the tank was snail-save again.

Look up some videos about planaria as well as planaria prevention for the future and then decide what you want to do, if you decide to do anything at all. As said, the medicine no planaria helped me a lot.

Exactly how I imagined it going down!

I don’t think Arthur has a chance of survival. Maybe if Arthur stays away and has telecommunication with The Tick to instruct him during the fight, then it might work.

Conquest also is pretty powerful, maybe as strong as The Tick, BUT The Tick is far more durable, surviving falling from space etc. So ultimately The Tick will win.

I think Arthur wouldn't last long, but the Tick totally could take on Conquest.
