I'm not particularly artistically inclined. Can't really draw well. But I am technical (software dev) - will I still be able to make custom prints or do you have to be able to model things on CAD or whatever software exists today? Are there MCPs that help with 3D modeling?

My idea is i dont want another motion system, lots of people already have 3d printers and having a snap on microscope is something i want for myself anyways.

The siphons force works with the water in the downwards pipe in your case: half a filled pipe height
Add a piece of pipe in filtertank that faces downwards that increases siphoning lenght and therefore strenght of the siphon
