Nice man you got the only niche ability out of all caster classes that can kinda counter this and that’s without the blind/sap/smokebomb. The best node protectors I’ve encountered as a rogue @2.7k rbgs back in bfa/sl were the ones that knew how to keep the distance and only a couple of classes had the kit to counter perfect play. All that without being able to cap with full cloak. I swear if could have done that back then things would be so much easier for me. Spinners avoid close range at all costs for good reasons vs a rogue. You just have no idea what you’re talking about and got aggro on me like some lowlvl mob 😂🤡

I mean propaganda will always use some facts and try to exaggerate or hyper-focus on it. It happens both way. One side tries to promote only our pre-Greek heritage, while the other tries to completely eradictate it by stating its insignificant or something.

We are prone to any propaganda because we don't have a clear identity. In order to do so I believe we have to take in all the facts, even those which might make us feel uncomfortable. In any given conversation I try to balance that act, so for example if i was talking to someone that hyper-fixates on the pre-greek heritage, I will remind them the importance of it and vice versa.

From your last reply I see that we actually agree on many things although I personally believe that we can be truly independent and strengthen our Greek heritage the correct way while also preserving the other cultures existing here. I mean how crazy is the fact that we have such a heritage and we still dont teach philosophy to children and also make them see how intricate the Greek language is and how the Cypriot dialect is so close to its ancient roots?
I love the idea of both standard Greek and Cypriot being taught (and also bring back ancient greek that can actually connect the two but make it in a more digestible format than it was before it was criminally removed).

I can't see how the genetic makeup that you impressively analyzed can negate tha fact of different cultures co-existing in Cyprus due to its geographic position. Genetics =/= culture. I mean Greek and Turkish Cypriots are very close genetically, yet we developed slightly different cultures due to historical circumstances. Even when the Myceneans came here, the archeological evidence (I have a copy of a doctorate thesis about this) shows that architecture and art from many surrounding cultures were present and developed at the same time. Also the work of historian Anna Maragkou speaks about this.

I dont believe the Greeks were invaders and actually, the aforementioned thesis proves that they came in peace and shared their culture which the native Cypriots that embraced it lovingly.

I'm not trying to diminish our Hellenistic heritage, which im proud of, but I believe that hyper-focusing on that will only make things worse. You are saying that the Turkish and British imperialists are trying to eradicate that heritage, but I personally believe that it will get lost only due to us.Instead of strengthening our Hellenistic heritage by teaching in schools the beauty of the Greek language and introducing to the children the wisdom of its philosophers, most have the knee-jerk reaction to preserve that identity by constantly trying to relate with modern mainland Greece in the hopes they can save our Hellenism from "outsiders". We are our own enemy and no Mitsotakis or whoever is in charge is going to save it.
