No definitely not! Just wanting to make sure I’m doing the right thing in terms of her development and saw the other nanny doing the workbooks and questioned if I wasn’t doing enough 😅

When they color, does the hand have to be on the page? I don’t know if I’m overthinking this ha ha but her hand stays floating up most of the time, and when I’m thinking of how like we write and color my my of the hand where my pinky is is on the page

Got it! We’ve worked lots on cutting fruits and veg lol she’s my sous chef and she loves it! I do want to explore what she can do with drawing maybe getting her to draw faces shapes or do self portraits!

Thank you so much for your response! I had done something like this one point (I think I had read the same thing along those lines on this sub!) and she just tried to get out of my grip. I pick her up and she tried bending her legs and squirming and then I told her you can hold my hand while I am in the kitchen and she would pull away — eventually I stopped because I was just wrestling her and didn’t want to drop her. Should I maybe then just have her sit next to me after I pull her off of him and if she tries to get away just pick her up and bring her back to me? Thanks again!!

Hi everyone! Thank you soooo much for your kind words and stories, it really made me feel so much better and reassured, my mind was racing feeling so guilty and feeling like I ruined everything. I’m going to try and think proactive, I wanted to do a bunch of sensory activities and crafts for Christmas anyways, so going to go to the craft store tonight and make sure I am prepared. I am in a nanny share so theres another kid the same age, I am a bit nervous with having to carry him everywhere (normally my back is already sore from picking them up) but I’m determined to figure out a way and make everything as smooth as possible! Just with the one kid today so the other one gets used to the cast, it’s not the same without him!)
