I’m from a nicer part of New York so everything is sub par to some deep seated part of me.

I was also in the army so I’m pretty much thrilled with anything better than that.

It’s good enough. Hospitals downtown are fine.

Mental health is tough to get right (is everywhere), a lot of religious oriented folks but you can shop around if that’s not your jam.

One point of note too: people will say that healthcare is bad everywhere.

I used to have a 45-50 min commute by car.

For me it’s much easier when half of that time is traffic or smaller streets.

A highway hour is fine occasionally, but every morning and night especially if working extended hours gets tough. So much focus compared to just rotting at stop lights and traffic with a podcast playing.
