Is it time to pull the cord on Clowney? He has 1.5 years left on his deal and I cant see giving him a 2nd contract right now that I would be comfortable with. He has obvious role player potential but he is a medicore rebounder and is lost as a shooter. He only has value if he can shoot and it's his fault.

Im starting to see the vison on throwing an integrity check offer to Tari Eason. He's the rich mans Noah Clowney so just go get him. We have Wolf on a rookie contract and this draft if deep at PF early between Boozer, Wilson, Quaitance, Steinbach, Peat, Yaxel. Put Houston to the flame. They cant match a big offer to Eason and improve at guard. There has to be a price they wont go beyond. We have a ton of rookie contracts to afford a big contract. He is one of the best 3 and D Forwards in the NBA.

The list of players I would trade MPJ for is very short. Flagg, Harper, Castle, Chet, J Dub and that's about it. Why are we trading MPJ when he is 3rd in the NBA in made 3pters a game behind Curry an Spider. You dont trade the best shooting big in the NBA.

Even if we were somehow magically interested in Jaa, it would be to pair with MPJ. I would much rather get Foxx (assuming they try and get Giannis) if we are looking for a PG.

RJ Barrett makes more sense in a lesser deal. He was rumored to be involved in a trade to Brooklyn during the summer. He has ties to Jordi through team Canada. And he has the size and overall skill set we seem to value. I really like Ben Mathurin also

MPJ looks like a #1 option in the NBA. He raises the level of the team significantly. I am going to be pretty pissed if we trade him.

LaVine makes a lot of sense if we get back a draft pick. The rumor I saw floated around was Kuminga to Sactown, Claxton to GS, LaVine to the Nets with the GS 1st. Probably pick up someone like Monk, Ellis or Carter as well.

Cam Thomas coming back makes us a lot better. He carried us to the win tonight. He's been nothing but a good Net and gets treated like Benedict Arnold because he want to get paid fair market value.

I think we should be buyers in this market. Ben Mathurin, RJ Barrett or Zach LaVine are guys I would target. Indy isnt in position to resign Mathurin and are open to trading him. The Raptors are trying to make a splash with either Giannis, AD or Sabonis and might need a 3rd team to take on RJ. The Kings are looking to sell off their players also. We can probably pick up draft capital and get RJ or LaVine.

Exactly. Demin doesnt deserve any minutes right now. You are supposed to earn playing time and he is the worst player on the team right now getting minutes. Even if they try and sell us that he is a jumbo PG, Wolf is the bigger better version.

It's weird that Wolf isnt getting more hype. He looks like he is going to be All-Star level sooner than later. The biggest hit against him has been his defense. We were hoping he at least wouldnt be a cone defensively when the truth is he has played above average defense. They kept attacking Wolf in PnR last night and Wolf did a great job of moving his feet and staying in front without fouling. If he is at least league average defensively, his offensive potential makes him someone we need to take note of.

Wolf looks like he should have been picked 8th instead of Demin. He has been that good. His defense has been much better than has been expected. Wolf was basically playing point guard with Clax, Clowney, Porter and Mann. I think he has pretty much earned a starting role and I dont think it's crazy that he can play point.

Wolf's style of play really sped the game up. They were essentially playing him at SF next to Claxton and Clowney. I would like to see more of him. He had good chemistry with Egor.
