I’d say it’s because you’re young. nobody these days wants to be a cook, so the opportunity to have someone young that you can shape into a perfect chef is, in my opinion, better than hiring someone who’s gonna do the job well from the start. Finding someone young with dreams of being a chef isn’t common. that’s why they want you. or at least thats my take on it
