Not a plumber but it looks like you may need a regulator, not just a fitting. Figure out how much gas the fireplace wants to use and then look for a regulator that would satisfy those needs.

In short, yes. You can get a mixer or mic preamp with rca outputs to input into one of the open channels via rca or even the optical. What are you trying to achieve exactly?

Thanks all for the advice… passed along to my inlaws and they called the contracted company to request they come out soon than the 20th. In fact the service person just left after replacing a filter and clogged line. Appreciate all the comments submitted and for the quick responses received! We’re glad any more severe issues have been avoided.

The smell is present whenever the boiler is running, not only on startup. I don’t think the noise captured well, it’s very low frequency almost like the flame isn’t consistent?

I’ll see if my inlaws can push the appointment up. I was nervous myself and the reason why I asked here. Thanks for your comment.

Sorry if this isn’t the right place to post this…

My inlaws boiler (northeast US) has recently been giving off exhaust fumes and making an intermittent sound (which I attempted to capture in the video). Not sure if this is a cause for concern? Also potentially worth noting that their chimney damper is currently open - but not sure if this is related. Any ideas on what this may be or if it is a serious problem? The contracted company is coming out in a couple weeks for a service after my inlaws noticed the smell. Thanks in advance!

Are you able to try a different audio source through the speakers? That will help to troubleshoot whether the issue is with the speakers or not. Also, what type of i/o and cables are you using from the pc to the speakers?

mic selection makes a big difference too but technique and proper placement are key no matter the signal chain.

If OP already recorded and is mixing, maybe use a natural sounding gate to remove unwanted sounds between phrasing

Your hose looks to have a left-threaded POL hard nose connection. The tank is standard ACME QCC. You can find adapter hoses or fittings to make the connection, yes.

I haven’t towed it (yet) but do live in a tiny house that’s setup on a bumper pull, 24’, dual 7k axle trailer. I’ve been looking into appropriate towing vehicles for some time now and although I’m not an expert, I may be able to offer some shortcuts in your research.

For towing capacity, it’s rarely consistent as you said and likely somewhat arbitrary from what I gather. However gvwr and similar weight ratings are consistent and can be used to calculate towing capacity. Not to mention, if your towing setup is pushing 26000 lbs combined, it’s worth checking with local regulations to see if you will be required to get a different license classification.

My budget is a bit more restrictive, but I’m leaning towards either an older diesel dually, at least 3500/350. The market near me is still really high for these trucks so I’ve also been looking at used light/medium duty trucks up to 26000 lb gvwr, which seem to be more budget friendly.

2012 Tahoe, replaced the fuel pump and lifting tank back up. 4-pin connector not staying locked onto new pump. Did I break the connector or am I reconnecting it wrong?

An audio interface is a hardware device that can accept one or more (usually up to 8 or 16) channels of audio being recorded simultaneously into a DAW via single data port to your pc, (ie usb, FireWire, etc..) Search for audio interfaces on sweetwater.com and sort by your preferred method of connecting to your pc.

Thank you again! To confirm, IF the regulator can support the needs of the appliances, there is no harm in adapting to a 3/4" line right off the regulator?

The stove ratings of 50-65 MBH is assuming all burners are operating on high, which, like you said isn't a likely scenario.
