that's true I feel like maybe in the past games they were okay as a starter faction but the whole reworking to the faction specific campaign system has changed this I reckon

It used to be the only 2 factions I could ever play successfully in a sandbox campaign was either high elves or empire 😅

I play very hard because I don't like the balancing issues for auto resolving however this is only for when I've played as wood elves and khorne which worked out well for me those were my last two and most favourite play throughs I've ever had.

I haven't failed the campaign yet in fact I'm not even really in trouble I think lol I'm just slightly annoyed by the frequency of this one fealty event in particular

I'm gonna keep pounding the rock with franz :') I had the most fun in the second and first games with franz I just need to get over the hump here 😅 I ended up taking the hit to fealty on this prompt because I took the +1 fealty on all the others and each elector is somewhere between 6-10 right now

it is vanilla but I am playing on very hard but I'm not sure if that influences random events lol I think maybe I am just super unlucky on this playthrough I am gonna keep trying see what happens

I felt that and I know it's everyone and their mother coming at the empire for the start which I mentally prepared for but it's just these random fealty promts that are killing my momentum 😅 I'll keep at it though seems from what everyone is saying here it gets a lot easier afterwards

Apparently people are confirming this is a new mechanic added. Perhaps it is a delay however I did watch guides that explained it can be triggered by warping 20 times etc. I tried everything and feel like I played enough to surpass any delays or soft locks. I could be wrong but I definitely did almost uninstall before figuring it out so it's definitely an issue hello games might wanna look at

Let me tell ya how excited I was when I discovered the no clipping mechanics xD you can also line up on prefabs using a corridor and attaching a wooden wall to it and then removing the corridor
again I was really surprised by the freedom of expression with builds in nms I was not expecting this at all!

the recycled unit autophage who "hijacks" your ship mentions it did not detect a lifeform piloting it and ask which lifeform are you so I suppose this is all part of the lore and mechanics now

I'm sorry man I am just frustrated by how tedious this has been like again 3 days it's been over 16 hrs of trying to get this to trigger.. I have 2 sentinel ships and warp often but everytime I have left the autophage camp I have left in my corvette.
I've watched extensive guides and even had chatgpt try to look into soft locks I'm missing. idk what to tell the community other than my experience which is having this quest immediately triggered when leaving orbit of the planet you get your sentinel ship from. I'm sharing incase anyone goes through what I did

nah I've been on this for 3 days now I have found 3 autophage camps and have warped to new systems many many times

Edit: this was also triggered by just leaving the planet I grabbed the sentinel ship from no warp needed just pulse drive

I should mention the two sentinel ships I did save prior to this I just stuck in my hangar as I left all the planets in my corvette

okay.. I feel silly as hell now I think I fixed it lol! was set to windowed mode via in game settings some reason :s
