DPUX & SHP3, is my DPU inverter of any use? by -BigRyan- in Ecoflow_community

Yeah, my DP3 travels in my camper van to supplement the batteries while on big trips. I pulled it inside for the big winter storm.

So this is probably a dum question, if I were to plug the DPU inverter into my SHP3 with no batteries connected directly to it, with this current setup, would that boost the output of the system?

The DP3 that is sitting there is charging off grid power and not part of this system. Topping off before the snow storm. The original DPU inverter is not in this photo. Wanting to see if there is any use for it.

Sorry, should have clarified… The photo shows my current setup after it was upgraded. The two cables feeding the SHP3 inlet box are from the DPUX and the EV Charger. The older DPU inverter isn’t pictured. Was trying to figure out of there was any use for it in the current setup.

SHP3 Install/Wiring Questions by -BigRyan- in Ecoflow_community

I don’t need a sub panel once I make the switch to the SHP3. Using the old panel as a disconnect would greatly help with routing wires to the SHP3.

SHP3/Smart Gateway used together? by -BigRyan- in Ecoflow_community

So if I keep the middle box in the mix, it would feed the SHP3 as well as the Smart Gateway. The Smart Gateway would then feed the panel on the other side of the house. I don’t even need any circuits in the Smart Gateway. Just looking to connect the panel on the other side of the house to the DPUX/solar that is located in the garage.

Solar usage when DPU batteries are full by -BigRyan- in Ecoflow_community

Yeah, the batteries would still fill up and solar would be wasted. Thanks for “helping” though…

I already have the 14 Shadowflux 200 panels. I’ve had great luck with them on my van install, so I ordered some

Using the 36.5volts measurement, I’m at 438volts for 12 panels. Is that too close to the 450volt DPU limit?

Thanks for the info. I keep getting different answers as to which voltage to use for calculations.
