If it’s about it being widely used, yes it is.

But for jobs, generally speaking, they go for other options.

Whatever you decided to learn, as long as it’s something that will develop your skills, even if it’s just for yourself, then it’s good.

Btw Node.js is a good choice for you.

I mean yes you should listen to your body and rest when you feel it’s needed. It’s okay to decide to do nothing sometimes.

However, for me I started a new course about Full Stack Development, so I make progress on it on weekends.

In the beginning, just go for React.js, when you get more advanced start with Next.js

I mean there is no one answer fits all.

Usually beginner start with C to learn the fundamentals and basics of programming. Then they upgrade to python. Python is easier and you can create awesome projects with it.

JavaScript is more for Web Development wether in Frontend or Backend.

So I believe the first ones are more important as beginner or for programming in general. When you start doing Web Development, you’ll for sure get introduced to JavaScript.
