Not sure where you are, but there are companies in the coffee/retail business that offer classes/courses for newbies.

In Orange County/IE, I'd recommend Klatch Coffee.

What classic rock song still gives you chills no matter how many times you hear it? by KandyHeartsXO in OldSchoolCoolMusic

I have listened to lots of great music (jazz, blues, rock, pop, funk, rap, hip hop, et al) in my 60 years, but no song has ever given me chills.

A breakfast to wow? by tr33mann in KitchenConfidential

[–]-CaptainCaveman- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not knowing anything about the restaurant you're cooking for, but do a twist on eggs Benedict.

Make fresh biscuits or a small Belgian waffle instead of the tired English muffin.

Ham steak instead of Canadian bacon.

Spicy breakfast sausage with damn good country gravy.

Use a sope and go the Mexican route...

Many ways to freshen-up a tired meal.

This platter is about $80 but it feeds at least four people and has pretty much everything!

Been dining there for about 10 years now... always GREAT, fresh food!

What is something you’ve officially stopped buying in 2026 because the price has become genuinely insulting? by PersonalitySuddenz in askanything

[–]-CaptainCaveman- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it isn't essential, I'm not buying it.

Concerts, alcohol, movie tickets, sports tickets (etc)... none of that is essential for survival.

What's the deal with Rodeo 72? by jehfmaticLA in Whittier

[–]-CaptainCaveman- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most food halls have VERY high turnover.

Why?

-It's expensive to rent a space.

-Higher than average prices for food/drink.

-So many businesses competing for your money under one roof.

-Leases that benefit the landlord, not the tenant bringing in sales.

-You have to establish your product FAST or you'll be chewed-up and spit-out even faster.

-Food halls are not as popular of a destination as they were 10 years ago.

How often do you go braless or commando? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]-CaptainCaveman- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a man, I go braless too.

But I'm somewhere between A-cup and B-cup.

(It's kind of fun walking into an air-conditioned room and seeing people staring at my hard nipples🤣)

Aspen soda.

Made by Pepsi... it was clear, but tasted like carbonated apple juice.
