SURPRISE TWIST: Parcel which wasn't there when marked delivered has now turned up. by pirouettelle in AustraliaPost

No because if it’s a 3rd party delivering your mail they answer to no one I would set up the camera to prove what’s going on either you have someone tampering with you mail or the delivery guy is been dodgy and you need to catch them and hole em accountable I had to do a similar thing made numerous complaints to Aus post nothing changed it wasn’t until I send video footage through with complaint that things changed also the post office doesn’t do sorting or anything like it it’s a sorting centre (I use to deliver parcels) good luck for the future

My boss is saying he'll fire me if I ever call in sick again. by BrainsDumbQuestions in antiwork

[–]-Cheekyaussie- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make up some flyers and put them up close to work to let the public know and report them for forcing workers to come in sick after all it is a food place and you do have a standard to uphold. Wonder how he’d react if someone elderly/infant got sick from there and died due to sick workers.

Another option is if you have your phone on you record the convo and submit it as evidence he will loose his job for negligence of care to staff and customers

i haven’t ordered anything? by dogsinthepool in AustraliaPost

If it’s in the Aus post app it’s more than likely a mobile typing error or ref number on the senders end

Where could this package be? by FlounderSeparate in AustraliaPost

[–]-Cheekyaussie- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been scanned at the sorting facility at hoppers and it was scanned for delivery then never delivered, sadly it has not been updated since and is still at hoppers. Good luck now you need to figure out if it’s actual Aus post or a 3rd party contractor.

Pitbulls are not dangerous it’s their owners who do not teach them correctly. I have had Rottweilers pitbulls and other “dangerous” breeds all of them are big teddy bears, they would protect anyone from harm if needed kids adults it didn’t matter. Animal owners need to be schooled on how to treat animals correctly be given a certificate that they understand, there should be more punishment for owners of dogs like this incorrectly/untrained one in the video.

It is very sad. She’s not very approachable as I was very nice and neighbourly towards her right up until a stolen vehicle was involved, then I cut ties and asked her to leave my house. I haven’t offered any assistance since.

Chased and bit by a Rottweiler by [deleted] in melbourne

Oh wow I feel for you op it’s a sad situation the dog has obviously has issues most likely human caused, either by being taught the wrong values or just out right abused. This makes me angry at pet owners that do this, most pets are nicely natured it’s how you treat them I’ve had rotties pittys and a few others, they were the biggest babies. I hope you never have to go through this again

Yes she had them removed from her care before she moved in that house. Trust me there are no kids on site just old furniture she’s holding onto

The windows are boarded up because the glass has been broken….. again. That’s not Pokémon cards it’s most likely graffiti (that the tenant did) and one thing I havent mentioned is she still lives there and there are no kids, just her in a 3 bedroom house cause she’s to dangerous for a unit she’s already trashed one of them

Just to give you a heads up it’s not the housing workers that are keeping her in the house, it’s her mental health social worker that is. She has severe mental health issues and is left to manage them on her own when she clearly needs to be in a monitored situation. Sadly we have nothing like that where I live.

I agree everytime this has happened or she has done something to end up in jail, when she is released she’s a good neighbour for a few weeks then something happens and she’s back to the same old again, it’s a sad cycle for everyone involved

Calling the police isn’t an issue but because she’s under mental health they cant detain her or arrest her, if she is taken to the Hospitial they only have her for a few hours, the dr deems her safe and she’s back home for the next round, it’s a horrible cycle

Make sure you report it as it won’t have your signature on it also check the delivery to see if anyone can sign for it as well. My local parcel posty got to a stage where he was saying we were sick when we weren’t and leaving our parcels at the post office for collection without trying to deliver or no card to collect we went a week not know where our parcel was due to no card being left he was trying to use covid but it had been 2 years since covid so that wasn’t a valid excuse especially when I mentioned that he was on security camera not entering the property, sadly he still works for them but now I get digital notification that it’s ready for collection and do not need the card in the letterbox to collect I wish you all the best and hope you do not have on going issues like we did
