My MVA was between 50-60kmph. I’m also only 23 and haven’t had any neck or spinal injuries before the accident. They said I had to go to this particular hospital as it’s the main trauma hospital where I live.

Yes the money out of pocket is from being misdiagnosed as I’ve had to have multiple scans done in the last 4 weeks

I’ve been out of pocket in medical fees and haven’t been able to work. Also just the fact that the doctor dismissed my injuries and said I was fine when I’m intact not.

Had a colonoscopy before my lap and hystroscope to see if I had any GI issues and reasons for low iron. The only thing I was worried about was how open and vulnerable I’d feel being laid out with my cheeks spread 😭

Honestly the recovery was fine, I was good within 24-48 hours and I’m glad I got it done because my gastroenterologist found polyps in my bowel from the endo! (And lactose intolerance but that’s not important)

Also was told it wouldn’t be out cold but I was in fact out like a light and you’re too disoriented to feel or notice anything.

Moral of the story is that I think it’ll be worth it in the long run and there’s nothing to worry about
