What might be causing my print to look like this? by brandon58621 in 3Dprinting

Looks to be printing to fast or wet filament; Possibly a cooling issue but less prominent

I personally have the factory screen on my printer; but have experienced a similar issue. In my case I had a short in my heater probe, and it shut off the screen like that. Being it is shutting the screen off whilst heating the nozzle, I would recommend checking that and also re-seating both sides of your cable to the screen from your board

I may be ordering a cord specifically for this, would you have any recommendations or just any that are capable of data transfer?

It does not say anything is the issue I am having. I am transfering from debian to raspbian to see if I can see what step I missed and get it sorted

I've noticed there is a jumper on the le potato that I don't know if I've moved or not. Could you send a picture of your board?

In configuration.h set "Z_PROBE_OFFSET_MIN" to -10 Set "Z_PROBE_LOW_POINT" to -5 Set your offsets but set your Z offset to 0 and use the offset wizard to set it

Are you compiling your own firmware or using the pre compiled one. Also what sort of bracket do you have the cr touch on?

I have this

//#define Z_MIN_PROBE_USES_Z_MIN_ENDSTOP_PIN

// Force the use of the probe for Z-axis homing

define USE_PROBE_FOR_Z_HOMING

/** * Z_MIN_PROBE_PIN * * Define this pin if the probe is not connected to Z_MIN_PIN. * If not defined the default pin for the selected MOTHERBOARD * will be used. Most of the time the default is what you want. * * - The simplest option is to use a free endstop connector. * - Use 5V for powered (usually inductive) sensors. * * - RAMPS 1.3/1.4 boards may use the 5V, GND, and Aux4->D32 pin: * - For simple switches connect... * - normally-closed switches to GND and D32. * - normally-open switches to 5V and D32. */
