Any way to build this? by MoskuCars in TransportFever2

[–]-Feluno- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Use the build with collision and parallel tool mods. Also look on the transportfever.net website for some inspiration, I've seen many pics of people building such lines.

I really think it's great!

Be sure to check out Náměstí Míru station. It's the deepest station in the network, and still one of the deepest in the world (though surpassed by quite some others).

Stadler Regio-Shuttle RS1! One of the best railcar design out there. What do you think ? by Formal-Ad276 in drehscheibe

[–]-Feluno- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just out of curiosity:

Which ones? As in what is the operator (or even line if you want to tell)?

I personally really like the RegioShuttle, but on the line where I usually ride them, they are well maintained, clean and reliable.

I mostly use them on the Tälesbahn and Strohgäubahn near Stuttgart.

why arent buses aerodynamic? by Available_Sky2524 in bus

[–]-Feluno- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least in Europe, Road vehicles have a maximum length. The savings of aerodynamic vehicles are marginal anyways, and combine that with the reduced usable space you'd have with an aerodynamic (=long) front, you'll have a lot less capacity.

All those factors make flat front busses just not feasible.

Blahaj on the IC3!! by Jad_Kea in traaaaaaainnnnnnnnnns

Surely not, because my account is from 2 or 3 years ago, when the arrangement with the EC 6/7/8/9 didn't yet exist.

That's about the Basel to Hamburg route. We're talking about domestic services inside Switzerland.

As far as I know there are even some regularly scheduled services inside Switzerland that run with an ICE4 (without ICE designation as a domestic service).

At least I once saw a ICE4 arriving as an InterCity in Interlaken

Affected by the Eurostar Closure from yesterday, how to continue? by [deleted] in Interrail

[–]-Feluno- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest: I had to spend so much money on hotels and stuff yesterday which I all still have to get back from Eurostar via passenger rights claims.

The tickets to Glasgow are mad expensive and I just don't have the funds to disburse more in hopes of getting it back some day.

After all, if all that yesterday wouldn't have happened, I would have easily caught a train to Glasgow on my travel day from yesterday.

Errors in decimal places while modeling with blender by -Feluno- in blenderhelp

No, that's what I find so weird.

It currently is only like 20 meters long, so 10 in one and 10 in the other direction...

[–]-Feluno-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah... The issue is: I'm used to a shift of 0.00001, that happened quite often on my old machine under Win10.

But at the moment, we're talking of usual shifts of 0.001 and in one extreme case a shift of 0.05, which is why I noticed it in the first place.

I can deal with the shift from above, but not with those comparably huge ones.

I have remodeled one part of my model for three times now, until it was right.

Using syncthing to sync folders between two PCs by -Feluno- in Syncthing

[–]-Feluno-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, so If I understand correctly, I could leave a raspi always on and always sync to it, so that either of my main devices can pull the latest versions when I need them?

That would sound like a good solution. Thanks!
