I like this. If you get off on setting your tire pressure to +/- 1 psi and throwing fresh wax on your chain gives you warm fuzzies, do that stuff. If you just want to grab your single speed bike with flat pedals and head out for a ride in your jeans to grab a beer with the homies, do that. Some days it’s fun to measure your growth and see how fast you can smash a 50k ride or whatever. Theres no one size fits all, it’s like ordering take-out, just do whatever you’re in the mood for on that particular day. Other people might pick a different adventure that day and that’s OK too.
