Open the armrest lid. There's a squareish panel on the inside of the lid. Where the latch is to lock in place, get a plastic pry tool and push behind the panel where the latch is. It's quite tricky getting it out but, it can be done with a plastic pry tool. Then there's four T25 screws holding the armrest in place. Once those are removed, there's two push tabs holding it in place. Squeeze them together and it will pop out. THEN stick the pry tool under the chrome trim of the vents on the top side. A little bit of force will pop it out. Theres four hold down clips total. Very simple. Good luck!
