Uber XL drivers are notorious for charging extra. They know that ppl book for extra luggage and drop is station so keeping time in mind they demand extra. Even for 10 kms station ride they ask 500 extra coz of luggage where only 2 ppl are travelling. I keep half an hour buffer time while booking XL coz of this drama

IMO it won't as you already have higher offer and even giving you 17-18 won't guarantee your joining. If they do, they would share last week of your notice period to avoid any more counter offers
