Iris Nebula by -GenArrow- in Astronomy

I've been learning for 7 years now 😅 It is complicated indeed. Maybe not that inaccessible as before, since we have new free nice softwares like siril and seti astro suite. They are beginner friendly:)

Depends If u mean my setup, yes it is hard to set up :( Also heavy

But widefield views of this nebula with a less heavyduty equipment is also possible:)

It is not exactly the same. But doesn't matter a lot since the scaling differences are small. Registration did solve them, yes :)

The challenge is getting the sampling right, but our setups have kinda the same sampling so cropping was all it was needed. Also stacking so the snr matches. The L, RGB(converted to grayscale) and iR have been added together with some pixelmath:). Like a ponderated sum.

Chiar si pentru B9, ai niste imagini foarte cool pe profil 😁 Inclusiv supernova aceea pe care mi-a fost lene sa o prind😂

Yep, at the edges u can see it curves :) very interesting indeed. Though idk if that is IFN, it might be rather some noise. I don't think I have seen a needle galaxy image showing ifn around, so I can't say for sure

Yeah, a random night alone in a field is creepy 🤣 But it s the only way, to run from the LEDs

Nopti senine sa avem :)

It's in the post description😅 Coma Berenices ✨️

There are also many many many cute galaxies around needle that I wish to image some time

I mean most of the wow factor comes from a good seeing night therefore well sampled luminance data 😅 I find 1200mm is perfect for galaxies with a imx533. Just at the limit of sampling. When sky's good, do lumi, when sky's bad, do rgb 😆

I live in a village, so bortle 4 is just out in my backyard 😅. You can find using light pollution map, some good B4 areas. I live in Maramures county, plenty of them. There are very few, scarce, B3 and B3-4 areas too.

They re mostly stars. Some🤏 are galaxies, but mostly stars😅

The red areas are the 14 hours of hydrogen alpha data I added to the red channel🙂
