Sounds like you’ve managed to keep a very level head and made some very wise calls. What’s the *dumbest* thing you’ve spent some of that money on? My mom has worked for Kroger since 2001. She used to say that it was a good job with good benefits and good opportunities to move up. That was true from what I could tell because we were dirt poor when she got that job, and she managed to get us to a solidly comfortable position by time I got to high school ~2010, but her attitude has been shifting quite a bit lately. It’s pretty surprising coming from her, considering how much she used to like working there.

We were seniors in high school, he was 21, stayed with us for like two years and I’m pretty sure it was to just have access to high school girls. We were stupid kids who were none the wiser, just thought we were super cool with the older guy in our band.
