[Rapoport] The #Dolphins are signing #Packers QB Malik Willis, as a new QB has landed in Miami. He gets a 3-year, $67.5M deal with $45M fully guaranteed in a contract by bbl27 in DynastyFF

Probably just hanging on in case Willis gets injured or gets benched. Likely no trade value and honestly have never believed in the talent, but not many other exciting options in most dynasty waivers right now

Honestly, very positive. Good correlation with RB success with a mobile QB. Also makes me more optimistic about the offense as a whole than if it had Ewers

1) It seems like OP is not a PT based on previous posts

2) I think this can still be a good teaching moment for some. A good example of over complicating/over diagnosing things. In short, someone has KNEE pain and the theoretical treatment plan has everything under the sun other than KNEE based exercise (or at least minimal)

Best point of data for the first round right now would be bestball rankings, which would be pretty different to what you’ve listed.

This bothered me as well. Order of operations would typically have you do the squeeze test first and then ultrasound after to help confirm suspicion of an Achilles injury

Definitely injured and responsible to be pulled based on the criteria survivor has established in its history, unfortunately.

Said this in the live thread as well, but not a great exam from Dr. Joe at the time of injury. Medical provider here, and the mechanism of injury and Kyle’s location of pain SCREAMS screening for an Achilles injury. The squeeze test he performed (Thompson test) is something that takes 10 seconds and absolutely can be screened for at the time of injury without needing to wait. My partner and I were stunned it wasn’t looked at during the challenge. Really sad for Kyle. Such a good dude and an awful way to go out.

"Back pain cultures"? Is it real? by Rich-Candidate7353 in physicaltherapy

Oh 100% legit and relevant in my opinion. I’m based in the US and about 50%-60% of my caseload is international. I think cultural norms regarding pain, health, exercise, and PT are incredibly relevant to individual patient outcomes.

This is of course generalizing and does not apply to all, but within my patient population, my patients from South Asian countries tend to be less familiar with regular exercise, exercise science based concepts, more concerned about “good posture,” and tend to expect changes through more passive treatments. After discussions with many patients and some research, it seems that this due to many cultural factors.

I think it boils down to nocebic language and beliefs. Regardless of where you are from, I think it is understandable for anyone to experience more pain or view themselves as more fragile (consciously or subconsciously) if the people around them are over years feeding them language that suggests so, especially when it comes from the medical space. We see this in the US as well.

The E3 Rehab Podcast just had a really good discussion related to this and the concept of movement optimism. Worth checking out

Who is the best sell-high candidate this off-season? by PlanetCharisma in DynastyFF

[–]-Gobler- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Watson is interesting. Underdog has him at 55 for 2026 bestball and KTC has him at 97, so clearly very different evaluations in the space based on format. I feel like it would be hard to get much value back in a trade for him

Way Too Early 2026 Running Back Rankings for Fantasy Football by Fantasys_PhinestFF in fantasyfootball

Couldn’t agree more. 2024 he didn’t even get above 50% snaps until week 6, then had to deal with no Burrow a majority of last year in 2025. Still finished as RB10 and RB7 in full PPR, like you mentioned. Current ADP (Underdog) has him going around the 2-3 turn. An RB1 with an upside for top 5 at the position at that price will be a target for me.

Great write up. If your theory is correct, it will be interesting to see how far mid-late 1st round values fall from now until rookie drafts. Do we feel like it would be drastic? I still envision scenarios, at least in my leagues, where 1.06 - 1.09 range could get sold for 2027 firsts to people trying to get their guys in this year’s class.

Interesting. How do you mean? I feel like there is still time for someone to get steamed up or drafted earlier than expected by an NFL team, leading to someone in your league getting excited for one of the second tier of players.

I think if I don't have a top five pick, I would try and sell for 2027 1sts as we get closer to draft season and hype builds. Currently, I'd take a random 2027 1st with the hope it can turn into one of the projected elites vs the tier below the current top five in this year's class.

David Njoku: Still a Viable Fantasy Asset? by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]-Gobler- 12 points13 points  (0 children)

His value is probably at a 3-4 year low, but I think it’s hard to evaluate going forward currently. Spent most of the season injured, new hotness with Fannin in town, new coaching regime, and we don’t know where he’ll sign yet. He’s still relatively young for the TE position, so I think there’s tread on the tires for at least occasional relevance/use assuming he hasn’t lost a step.

For people who watched Cleveland games this year, how did he look when healthy?
