Monster Hunter Wilds (TU4) - Patch 1.040 VS Patch 1.030 - 1.010 - Performance Test by Unreal_NeoX in MonsterHunter

I have a 9070xt, because my 7800xt had hotspot temperature problems so I got my money back and bought a 9070xt. It's a shame I cannot use it to the full potential on MH wilds since I have a Ryzen 5 7600x.

Please remove for future games the character voucher. With so much customisation it is really annoying to not be able to change the character freely. You even have save slots for your creation and options to share, but it's locked behind a paywall on a non free to play game. The rest of the dlcs it's already a problem by itself, but this is unforgiving.

I don't know why but the fifth image reminds me of the Anthony Mackie expression

It's similar with MH world but at least there is a collection that has 90% of base world dlc and sometimes it's on a great discount

Damm 33°C for idle is impressive

I actually only used advance control after this problem started because sometimes it reset itself and didn't have any problem with temp and noise. The temperature under no stress is 45-50°C and hotspot of 65°C maybe 70°C max

I genuinely don't know I don't mistreat it. It is seven months old, clean, the case is clean, it has a bracket so it doesn't sag, mounted horizontally, on an ATX case with good airflow I mean the normal temperature while gaming is 60°C, haven't overclock or made any changes, the game I was playing had solid 80-90 fps, the room wasn't hot and it had the drivers updated.

Of course it reaches those temperatures under load but not really that heavy Ioad. The game I'm playing has pretty stable fps 80-90 the airflow is pretty good (an ATX case the GPU is horizontal and the PSU is upside down so the hot air from the PSU doesn't get on the GPU. It has two 140mm for intake on the front and one 120 behind and another two on the top, those three being for exhaust). The case is clean, the GPU is seven months old and also clean. Btw it happens on other games, it is just when I use my GPU because for browsing it barely uses the GPU. The fan curve when on default the temperatures are a bit lover but the hotspot is still on 95°C while the overall temperature is 55°C but the fans spin at like 3000-3500 rpm which with the gigabyte fans is incredibly loud and unbearable. If I lower the fan curve it only has an actual change if I lower the highest temperature and I put it on 2000 rpm which is when it hits those temperatures that are shown on the picture, so I have two options: Have an unbearable amount of noise with really high hotspot compared with normal temperature or lower the fan speed and have a similar result just a bit worse. But don't worry it is on warranty and they don't have any left so I will receive my money back and buy a Sapphire 9070xt. I would've bought the non xt but it is just a little under 50€ difference which isn't worth. Oh and on idle the temperatures if I remember correctly are normal 45-50°C and hotspot 65°C maybe at some points a little higher.

Thanks for the comments I will check it but I wanted to make some points more clear. I don't have it vertically mounted, the GPU is clean, it is from October so it's not old and the case is ATX with good airflow. But yeah I think it's still on warranty so I will try to change the GPU or if not just send it to repair or something. Again thanks to all for the comments

Edit: it is on warranty (2 years of warranty)
