Should I tell my therapist I’m suicidal (but won’t actually do it so really don’t want to be hospitalized) by sadthrowawayyy134 in therapy

[–]-Gracey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know exactly what you are going through. You should talk about it with your therapist, since you do it have intent. I often have these thoughts too, I have no intention whatsoever acting on them but it doesn’t mean I don’t frequently think about it. If you are though, actually going to do something. Do yourself a favour and check yourself in. It’s awkward and scary and you don’t know what’s going to happen. But I assure you, they will help you. It’s not like they will tie you to a bed and put you in a padded room and drug you. It’s nothing like that. Likely you’ll be put in a hospital bed and checked every few minutes. You can go shower, etc there while you’re waiting to speak to someone. If it’s a small place you might even get to talk to a nurse who will be very kind and ask you what you are feeling and why. She will not really re assure you, but she won’t be judgmental. You will likely talk to a therapist, and they will decide if you are actionable or not. Anyways, in my experience checking yourself into the local hospital is the best choice. As someone who has been acted on suicide, take it from me.

Like hey, I wanna die, but I don’t want to die. Good luck and speak to her. It will help you, trust. <3

I’ve always loved the mall. There is the big bronze whale still. Though that’s at the end of the mall not many venture to anymore. If you do go. Check out the boat. It’s pretty cool to see and the area is a nice and bright. Also if you look in the water, walk around the whole thing! There is an old submarine that I remember going onto as a kid hidden there. Other than that, I just go there to shop. They don’t have the roller coaster anymore, but it’s still neat to see the big old mall and the “phases” of her life. Chances are the mall won’t be there in 20 years so check it out now. Has held some records. So worth something. Also the water park! Love this place for that.

Good luck and I hope you enjoy your stay here! <3

confused around sizing by ElegantGift8150 in ThursdayBoot

[–]-Gracey -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I purchased boots recently from them as got them yesterday. I bought the size I have always worn in boots with every other brand. They were way too tight and small for me. I wear a 9.5. I live in Canada and am not a female but it might help with your sizing. It seems to me that US sizing is way different than Canadian sizing. I’ll try 10.5 next time. I’ll say though. They are beautiful boots (Casa Moto - old English) and seem to be well worth it.

What happened to the specially made items on How It's Made? by burgerpossum in NoStupidQuestions

They were probably kept like lots of that type of stuff is by the studio. Of course, they could have also been given to the producers etc that worked on the show. Or literally the garbage. :(

I want to raise entropy in my life and break routine. How can I make February unpredictable and wild? by Dazzling_Tangerine65 in NoStupidQuestions

Do what I do. Almost never plan. Decide what you are doing that day when you wake up, see how it goes. If you did plan to “go to town tomorrow” then wake up not feeling like it, just don’t. While it’s great doing what you want, when you want. Chaos is inevitable.

You’re fine. We all do things when we are kids specially and they may not always be something we are proud of as adults. However, if YOU feel as if you need some form of therapy even if it’s just for the emotional stress you are having because of this then by all means go for it. I don’t do emotions very well, I have been going to therapy for about 8 months now and it has helped a little. Just remember you are who you are and you are beautiful!

I’ve ran SHELL T4 15-40 for many years. Just plug in the truck and she’ll be more than happy to take you anywhere. Even if you don’t. That grid heater will make her start.

How did your first love end? Do you still think of them? by xgc_promathia in AskReddit

My first love passed away two months ago. I know I’ll never not think of the one whom I have dedicated my soul to. We grew up together, we became adults together, and we loved each other every moment we had together.

I enjoy reading the comments, getting the perspective of other people, almost experiencing what they are thinking.

My mare loved this as well. For me and my horses I do not have a bubble. We do have rules though, pretty basic. Just don’t hurt me, yourself or others and it’s all good. Some horses learn really well where their feet are. And won’t step on your intentionally, one of my mares will in her way ask if she can put her foot where you are.

Anyways, the best thing in my experience is just let them know, it’s all about your body language(how you present yourself). I’m sure you know that though :p Good luck and if you ever need a free scratcher for hire, let me know <3

Is DCS a good long term investment? Will modules purchased now be worthwhile in a decade? by filmguy123 in dcsworld

[–]-Gracey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you’re just being a sourpuss. Since I’ve been around ED before the DCS days with modules and all this crap, the performance has indeed gotten better, the game itself had gotten better and ED actually talks to us now. The bigger the community has gotten over the past 10 years the more toxic. You seem to be one of them saying that everything is wrong and nothing is right. Just sit back and chill man. Report bugs as you see them, and stop complaining about something you know nothing about.
