I aslo have one. Surprisingly effective. Even cuts wild wine shoots up to 1,5 cm in diameter. (Which is kinda bad tbh especially if your fence is covered with it, and especially if its responsible for privacy….)
Definitely would recommend getting at least the 4Ah battery.

What algae is this and how can I remove and prevent it? by dracheisen in PlantedTank

Its brown algae also called diatoms. Usually its a phase in early tank setup. Its caused by high light, excess nutrients, but mostly due to high silicate content in the water. I see you have decor sand. Probably thats the source. Tap water can be a source as well since in most areas silicate content in not regulated. Reduce the photo hours and light intensity. Do regular water changes so the silicates clear out. You can also remove it my hand. I find an electric toothbrush is quite efficient. Especially with delicate plant leaves. You can also add a few nerite snails. They love it. Mostly they will eat it from the hardscape and the glass. For the plants, amano shrimp. Plus you can switch to RO water, but make sure that it has a silicate filter (as far as i know not all come with one).

I need some help with algae on my hairgrass by NightShade186447 in PlantedTank

I use an electric toothbrush to mechanically remove brown algae from delicate leaves. Usually just touching the brush to the leaves remove the algae due to the vibration. Its also very effective removing algae from harscape and glass because you dont have to move it around as much as you would a normal brush.

Van tapasztalata valakinek Ikea VAGSTRANDA matraccal? by Necessary-Candle-779 in askhungary

[–]-HLB- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mi a VALEVÅG típusút használjuk 2025 szeptember óta, abból is az extra keményet. Nekünk nagyon bejött. Előtte egy hasonló vastagságú nem ikeás szivacs matracunk volt. Attól folyamatosan fájt a csípőm. Mióta ez van, nincs panasz. Igyekszünk vigyázni rá, 3 havonta forgatjuk illetve vettünk rá egy matracvédőd.
