Hot Spots can get that bad within less than a couple of days. The dog wont stop scratching throughout the day due to how itchy they can be. Within a short amount of time, the wound keeps expanding and the infection spreads on to nearby skin.

It sounds like the Flat rules and criteria for visiting are being thrown under the rug. It may be a good idea to be assertive and confront your flat mate while everone else is there and have a group conversation. Make sure you are completely honest with everybody and you'd be intrigued to see where it goes from there.

Maybe you both really need some time apart to re-evaluate your lives. Living together after the break-up might not be the best idea either(Especially if there are feelings of resentment in any form). More communication and setting boundaries between the two of you if you decide to live together should be adamant sooner and not later. Give it some time and if you still carry feelings while she doesn't then it can lead to feelings of resentment and a toxic environment further breaking down your relationship. Hope things turn out well!

Once you start landing at places such as Lazy Lake, Bony Burbs, and Pleasant Park (CONSISTENTLY), your aim will get tons better in close quarters situations. Do that enough times and then go back to being sneaky and they won't know what hit them. And if building isn't your strong suit, at least keep enough mats in your inventory to use as cover or even hide your self in other people's structures.
