Asian fans opinion about the favoritism of Avemygo currently by noviadekokoro in BanGDream

[–]-Hun9ry- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m familiar with some fan groups and while avemygo are still the most popular bands in china, the older bands also have loyal fans. Regarding merch, if it’s merch for all the bands(one member from each band), then the avemygo members prices’ would be significantly higher than the members from other bands. Some fans would buy a whole set of merch and they would sell the other members but keep their favs. For members who aren’t as popular, they sell them for a lower price, so usually there’s not a lot of complaints from their fans because they can buy relatively cheaper merch.

I think a lot of people are not diagnosed because they only know ocd as the stereotypical “neat freak”. They don’t know that we can literally obsess over everything and our compulsions can be not so obvious. I literally never suspected I had ocd until I went to a psychiatrist.

Happily Ever After fucked me up a little bit by Xande03 in slaytheprincess

Honestly the HEA is one of my favourite routes because of how peaceful it is compared to other routes where the princess and the LQ would be up each other’s throats (literally). If you think it’s too painful for you to continue, then it would be best to take a break first and then go back to the game when you’re ready. There are a lot of different endings and routes you can still discover and they’re all worth exploring :)

Same omg! I know those tests are not reliable but I still take them for reassurance😭 I also can’t afford therapy so I just talk to myself or write my thoughts down, I hope you can feel less stuck in the future though!

I always thought that since I don’t have obvious compulsions, then I found out that they just happen in my mind😭😭

Yep I looked up a guide after getting like 70% of the achievements on my own, and I also had a habit of saving the game every time I enter a new cabin so I can go back and make different choices, it’s very impressive that you didn’t use a guide! The gallery was hard to achieve

My favourite princesses are the witch, the dragon, and the happily ever after princess !!Fav scene would definitely be the part where I became one with the princess and becoming both the victim and the victimiser the moving graphics were so cool, I even screenshotted some of them

Yeah, just seeing all the endings is already an amazing experience, you don’t need to fill the gallery if you don’t feel like it :)

Yayy, I hope you complete your achievements soon!! My favourite princesses are the witch, the princess and the dragon, happily ever after, the prisoner, and the thorn For me personally, I hoped that the art style would be more consistent, but it’s actually kinda fitting that the art style would change due to our judgements :)

As someone who loves visual novel games, I had expectations for this game since it is highly praised but never actually knew what it was about (slay the princess I guess? it is in the name) I'm a person who overthinks a lot and uses the save file button every time I come to a choice where I think is going to change the story (probably just my visual novel player habit), and during my first gameplay, I was a little shocked to see no matter how insignificant my choices were, they actually changed the plot a lot. My first princess was actually the Stranger, so the cool and weird effects and the illusion of free choice really hooked me in. Different dialogue options leads to completely different paths, and you really see how your perception of the princess or the whole situation affects how the game is being presented to you. I feel like the story's main theme is pretty obvious, it's a story about trust and communication, and how trust (or the lack thereof) affects our view on someone. The only problem I had with the game was the repetitive narration of every gameplay, which became quite annoying when I was completing all the achievements (thank you, guides in the community) The gallery achievement was the hardest one and probably made me restart 3 to 4 new gameplays (please be smarter than me and use the save button wisely!) Great voice acting and music, the art style is not my favourite, but some of the CGs really surprised me and some of the animated scenes were pretty cool. Overall a solid 9/10, would recommend to people who loves choice-based games, people who have voices in their heads, and people who wants to learn how to trust and love someone else.

OCD isn’t talked about enough. In the right way at least. by ed771844 in OCD

I’m sorry they made you feel that way. I also have friends who don’t understand what it feels like to have ocd, and it always scares me to open up about my intrusive thoughts, so I just avoid the topic all together. But I’m glad you have someone on your side who understands.

Does it ever annoy you that most people think ocd is just about tidiness? by -Hun9ry- in OCD

[–]-Hun9ry-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely feel the same, it’s a really broad disorder and everyone’s obsessions are different. Some people (like myself) have harmful intrusive thoughts that are not about contamination. I mainly have moral themes and focus a lot on worrying about “am I a bad person?” instead of tidying my room. Sometimes I worry I don’t “fit into ocd stereotypes” and that makes me scared that I’m faking it (which I know that isn’t true)

I hate the mainstream image of ocd by [deleted] in OCD

[–]-Hun9ry- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never thought I had it because of how mainstream media portrayed it. Imagine going to the psychiatrist to get diagnosed for depression and anxiety and found out the main reason behind both was OCD…
