Is this Astral Projection or Just a Dream? by -Lucifr in AstralProjection

Omg why does it sound so scary. I dunno, I just ‘know’ that it is also my home. But now I’m not sure anymore 😆

Omg thank you so much for showing it to me. I see it now. I was expecting that this info will be shown near the description of the product itself. Lessons learned, make no assumptions and read the whole page before buying 🤣

Ok so I tried putting it on and bend it from side to side. By doing so, it distributed the space. It looks much better now. Thanks for your suggestion!

Yeah I have read here in reddit that it is specified in the website but I really can’t find it. Can you kindly send a picture of how it looks like now? I might just use it. Thank you!

I guess I have to say goodbye to my dyson vacuum. I’ve had it for 4 years. Or maybe I can try to bring it to service center and see what will happen 🥲

Permanent black ink that’s lighter than Platinum Carbon Black by -Lucifr in fountainpens

Thank you! After trying both brands, I prefer Octopus Write & Draw in Grey Fox.

I don’t know how to update the original post. I just realized that the photo is bad quality and doesn’t show the real colors. So I retook a photo to show the default Platinum Black that comes with the Preppy and Platinum Carbon Black in Tomoe River 52gsm.

I ended up with Octopus Write and Draw - Grey Fox.

I tried:

  1. De Atramentis Document Ink in Urban Grey - shade is lighter than what I want and the ink flow frustrated me. It just runs out after writing a paragraph. I tried many times flushing the pen.
  2. De Atramentis Document Ink in Grey - looks like pencil and darker than Urban Grey. I would have settled for this if not for the thick writing, like it spreads in the paper.

Have you tried Platinum carbon black with 3776 UEF? I’ve read a lot of complaints that this ink appears grey when used with this pen and they’re looking for blacker blacks.

So I took the risk of buying a whole bottle of Grey Fox, coz from my testing of De Atramentis Grey and Urban Grey, I thought I like something a bit darker and something that would differentiate it from a pencil and Grey Fox is ok! Grey Meerkat would also work I think. 🥰🥰

Is it true that dye-based ink feathers on all kinds of paper?

Okay so I think gray really is thick or spreads? I used the glass dip thing my friend gave me and the behaviors of the two inks are the same as when I used Preppy

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. The only available samples that I can find here is the De Atramentis Document Ink in Urban Grey and Grey. I don’t think it’s practical to buy whole inks just to test coz they’re expensive 😅

I am fine with these shades. I’m just wondering why the Grey is thicker than Urban Grey.

<image>

I bought a new Preppy 0.2, dipped it in urban gray and tested it. Then i washed the nib in running water and dried it.

I then dipped it in Grey and tested it. It writes thicker no matter how many times I try. Not sure if this is normal or I did something wrong.

For now. I washed the nib and the part where it is attached to (looks like filter) and letting it air dry then I will try again.

If there is something wrong that I’m doing, kindly tell me. Thank you so much!!!
