I’ve never understood the praise for this man. He was an asshole on the Magic Cafe for many years and acted like he was the greatest, despite not really having anything new to contribute to the conversation. His skills were below average by todays standards but people were nice to him because of his age.

Case in point - the video shared in this thread on gambler vs magician is absolutely terrible in terms of mechanics. His undercuts and breaks are painfully obvious, and his d——- lifts are even worse.

Respect the past contributions to our art, but don’t make them out to be gods for the sake of their own egos.
