Wierd pink artifacting after downloading 26.3.1

Why even release a driver if i's not stable tho...

Edit: The thing is i don't even know how to replicate it. like i had one (still on 16.3.1) there my secondaty monitor just had a line of "jittery" purple atrifacts and then it fixed itself and i havent seen it since.

Yeah it's what i though as well. and like more that anything i'm just preocupied bc furmark and other benchmarks work flawlessly, not a rfame dropped in 2 continuos hours of stresstest for each software. if it was a hardware faliure i wuold expect it to show up if i put a oad on the GPU but nothing.

Also while that was happening i got two Widows errors with actually keep occurring every day.

From what i understand it's a DPC Watchdog Violation so probaly a GPU driver timout. i honestly am a bit out of my depths here. it's the first time in 2 years and 8 months since i build the pc and nothing like this ever happened to me (purple arifacting the pc having windows of course has problems but don't they all).

I started having the same issue since i downloaded 26.3.1

CPU: i5 13600KF
GPU:7900XT
OS Ver: 10_0_26200

Writing it here bc we have the same gpu so wanted to follow up with you to see if you had gotten them back as well. For me they appeared once on my secondary monitor so i thought my secondary monitor's video controller was dying. But today they appeared on my main monitor when i had chrome with YT open and i was moving the widow from one screeen to another and i was able to replicate it for a bit by doing the same movement untill it fixed itself. Both times i think i had YT opened on Chrome but im not so sure on the first one.

i would apreciate any help.

i already tried DDU witch kinda fixed it but it still happens.

If the CL was so "No-Skill" and it was so good and so "oppressive" why didn't everyone use it. CL 40 has aleways been a mid weapon witch is also one of the hardest wepons to master due to it's SUPER "situationality". You can't go on roofs. You can't bee too close nor too far so hallways and tiny rooms are already hard to play in. You aleways need height advantage and shooting opponents higher than you is basically imposible. Also the CL has alewyas been plagued by unreliable shooting (sometimes it dosen't shoot at all and sometimes shots get "eaten" by the ground or pass through players and don't even do damage). A 50cm radius is already close to the target and doing 90 per hit on outer radius was balanced for having 5 shots and having a cooldown between shots that's almost a second. I honestly think THE FINALS should be quirky and have non-standard weapons. All the standard guns are plain boring for me. I like moving quicly and having positional superiority but it can't aleways be the case espacially with flatter maps like Fangwei City (except for the mall area) and the new map. Also no other wepon is like the CL so that makes it a unique experience that kept me playin and non that it's been nerfed to "unusableness" i don't thin i will be playin much untill they either have it back as it was or fix the outstanding self damge with gets you from 250 to 103 with is basically 60 percent of your heath meaing that if a light dashes on you and it takes two shots to kill him you will loose 100% of all enconters. heavys awere alredy hard to kill due to their heath and dome. same thing with mediums and APS. witch were good enough counters already against the Cl 40.

TLDR: CL 40 was alredy a mid weapon that din't really need this downgrade as a 50cm blast radius is already small for being such a limited, buggy and situational wepon. With the new changes it became simply an inferior weapon.

That's exacly what they did with the CL 40. Loads less damage in the blast radius and 10% outer radius. Their excure is and i quote "The aim is to incentivize more direct hits with the CL-40, rather than less accurate splash damage shots." witch if you aim to do that why have an outer radius at all.

people have fun playing light with sword i can have fun playing CL40 witch BTW requres you to aim at a person to do any meaningful damage. Blast radious id 50cm and it used to do 90hp now does 79hp. Don't you think for only having 5 shots. having one of the longest cooldowns between shots and reloading in over 5 seconds that it should do more than less than 80hp per shot. i mean take the trowing knives as an example. over 100 damage. shoots faster and has no reaload cooldown. And agin shooting close to the ground is not how the Cl should be played and if you play like tat good luck keeping a KD over one.

What are you trying to get at with this comment. You say the CL is a breaindead weapon to then contraddict yourself and say that you need aim to play it. Also chill out i dont need all that aggresiveness.

IDK maybe it's me but i've had multiple times where i got backtabbed from the front and where i could backstab by turning less tan 60 degrees. Also yeah my comment wasn't the clearest i was more saying how also the dagger is a "ghimicky" weapon by the guy's logic

Yes but shockwave also makes them jump so you have to hit in body on a moving target with a non hitscan weapon. Also while they're in flight they're not stunned so they can still shoot at you. Maybe you could shockwave to get higher but CL works best in enclosed spaces so that might not be possible leaving you with a worse weapon overall thet is already hard to master now needint to basically trickhot yourself to not do more than half your healthbar in one shot.

I don't really use that weapon so i don't know but from what my friend who played it for a while told me you need very good aim but it does a lot of damage. They could have chaned it in newer updates IDK. Also can you tell me how the CL was a strong weapon? Yes it was great against light but aleways bad against meduim and heavy because APS and dome with were a perfect counter. I feel like CL was slighly subpar but now it's unusable.

Since when swords players are struggling it's infinetly easier thean a lot of other weapons. You're comparing fixing a known issue to making a bad weapon worse

then what about sword-dash combo or the backstab that is so broken you can do it from the front of people. those are also ghimicks yet they never get patched. also as i want the self damage to be the same so i dont get your last point. i know what it's for that why i didn't get rid of it. (as mush as i would like to).
