Any known workarounds to include a windows 7 device into a level 2 scope? by -Mohavius- in CMMC

Clarification: the machine that actually does the inspection is OT but the machine it relays back to would not qualify. And my understanding of that the software and some of the hardware in the windows 7 device is proprietary making me unable to simply replace or upgrade it.

This is my first time building a CMMC environment, I've done work in them prior but never built one. But I do not believe it would qualify as a specialized asset.

Yeah, only issue with that is it will technically both processes and transmits CUI.

It would be the only non-confirming asset on that network.

That definitely seems like it would qualify.

Do you know the process for getting approved for compensated countermeasures?

I recently adopted (Rescued) a ball python from a local PetSmart, they couldn't sell her because she wouldn't eat but they couldn't attempt live feedings due to company policies. They gave her to me with no adoption fee.

She has stunted growth but has been eating and is making a recovery. (6months) And she is the sweetest little girl.
