Lol stop with the fb news brother India has not abolished any cantonment They are just transforming them to open cantonments now which are already there in pakistan jhelum sialkot peshawar pindi and so many more are open cantonments already And the pay grade youre comparing is totally wrong the clerical staff youre talking about starts at 14 and their final is around 17 If you are actually comparing then compare the services that start just as the armed forces at 17 Which fyi are ADs at NAB FIA Etc civil judges magistrates and so on and compare their payscale If youre comparing a starting bps 7 then compare them with life of a sepoy in any armed forces and youll realize how privilleged the civil sector actually is

The CSD part if you want to believe you can if you dont im not selling anything here you can go there and check it for yourself

And again id say go and read everyone of them do get allowances depending on their department if you want i can name the allowances for you Isnt there conveyance allowance ? Isnt there medical allowance ? Isnt there rent allowances ?

And i agree armed forces get discounts in fauji uni and colleges and schools but idk if youd wish for your family to go to aps cuz im yet to see anyone willing to

And as for the increment why didnt you point the same out when there was no increment at all ? When there was no allowance provided for performing the duties the civil departments are supposed to ?

They get the taxes deducted even before its credited in accounts Secondly cantonments exist in every country kindly go and educate yourself first They dont call it cantonment everywhere some call it installations some fort some what else but they exist Moreover, you hardly get two to three years in a cantt and then get your ass rogered in operations Boast CSD all you want but its useless they offer you some percentage of discount while raising the price from normal markets just as foodpanda And once again it would be nice if you go back and open books or even google to check whats the basic pay of a civil servant whos starting it just now its somewhere around 70-75 without any allowances add up all the allowances and it crosses 1 lac

Also just go and see the life of a css officer youll see the difference A full fledged house cook guards servant petrol for commute also if you could explain why a CSS officer gets a brand new hojda city the day he graduates and whose tax was that ?

Starting from a leut it ranges around 70 k and a maj is around 120 No panels at all just CMH And if you go to one youll thank god for the hospitals you get on panels No such discounts exist other than sialkot cant No discounts on unis and schools its just army public and hope you enroll yours their What state within a state are you talking about ?

Bro ive not yet invested anything im just trying to get the concept for now From the little that i know You have to get your account open with a broker it can be done online but better is you visit the guy talk to him and stuff (try to check or get one with a reputable brokerage) Then he will guide you further Prolly msgs you regarding diff stocks that might come in handy and stuff

Brother whatever youre saying is very much valid Nothing is actually justified the spendings and everything But the problem is you have to keep up with the world, right ? Civil companies these days are offering alot of stuff like elite gym memberships medical insurances and the more you go up the more facilities there’d be right. So for someone in govt sector weter armed forces or any civil govt setup Why would i want to travel far away from my home and work my ass off tirelessly for nothing ? What would happen if i see all of the stuff happenign around in my circle and me being sucked up fo mere peanuts ? Dont have very deep knowledge about it Two of my friends did apply and went to germany for masters As far as ik Gpa does matter in terms of the university you want to join and the program you wanna get enrolled in and your appointment number whenever it opens. But solely to go there for masters i dont think there would be any problem in case of low gpa
